The Multi-Task format came as a result of much experimentation and a desire to make competition within Condor as realistic as I could make it.

The result enables multiple tasks to be flown in different classes all in the same server.  In real life competition, there are normally several different classes flying at the same time.  Sometimes they are flying the same task, but often times they are flying different tasks.  Out on course you can be flying near someone that isn't on the same task as you but you still benefit from watching what that person is doing.  Now this is possible in Condor, too.

Below are examples of 3 tasks that were flown simultaneously in a single server:

As you can see, the Condor flight plan is simply two triangles inside each other.  However, each class has a distinctly different task they are flying.  There is a "trick" from MAT's that was borrowed to make this work.  TP1 will always be common to all classes.  As you can see above all three classes go to TP1.  After that the tasks become different.  TP2 becomes the finish sector.  So, after TP1 navigation must be done using page 1 of the PDA.  When you have rounded all your turn points, the PDA will bring you home to TP2 which is the finish line.

An IGC file is required at the completion of the task.

One unfortunate thing about this, is that you will never get the cheer you would normally hear when you cross the finish.  All you will see is that you have reached TP2.  Oh well.  Such can be the price of innovation.
