        This model is an amazing reproduction of the standard class Discus 2. It can also be flown with the 6m tips with winglets to give you the Discus 2cx or the Discus 2cxM. The sailplane comes to you with the airframe completely built and ready for radio installation. The fuselage and all flying surfaces are beautifully molded in fiberglass and carbon fiber and are painted in the molds. All control surfaces have living skin hinges and the spoilers are installed ready for servo hook-up. This sailplane is also available with foam core wings sheeted with obechi and covered with Oracover. The cockpit is complete with seat pan, upholstery and instrument panel. The stick, undercarriage and spoiler handles are also included and in place. Even the tow release handle is reproduced in exquisite detail!! The canopy is hinged to the side and the canopy latch is accessed through the side sliding window just as in the full scale Discus. Even the instrument panel lifts up as you open the canopy. Really incredible detail in this sailplane! It can also be purchased with an SLS 22 system already installed for the ultimate in soaring freedom.
